Our Mission

Provide counseling to Yale College Students and Alumni to help them learn about themselves, explore the world around them and learn about career options in order to help them to realize their goals.

Services

• Career counseling
  UCS offers career advising, networking strategies, resume and cover letter reviews, workshops, panels, and mock interviews.

• Professional school advising
  One-on-one advising for pre-medical and pre-law students, workshops and panels on curricular requirements (medical school), application processes, and funding. Mock medical school interviews offered.

• Employment and internship opportunities
  Participate in On-Campus Interview Program, Real World tours, international and domestic internship programs, and career fairs. Explore a national on-line job and internship databases.

• Career development resources
  Extensive on-line career information and national employer directory. The Yale Career Network connects students with alumni mentors in all fields throughout the world.

How to use UCS

Students may schedule a counseling appointment by contacting our office or visiting our office during both academic and summer months. Students may also seek career counseling during office open hours.
