Gijsbert Kok

Gijsbert Kok (1963) studied organ and church music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands, and he studied the carillon with Mr. Bernard Winsemius at the Dutch Carillon School in Amersfoort. He has won prizes at carillon competitions in Tilburg, Groningen, and Enkhuizen. Gijsbert is organist of the Domkerk in De Lier and the American Protestant Church in The Hague.

He is carilloneur of the cities of Weesp (Hemony - bells from 1671), Voorschoten, and Zoetermeer. He also gives regular organ and carillon concerts in The Netherlands and throughout Europe and has made several concert tours in the United States.
