About the Graduate School

This electronic brochure contains general information about Yale University and the Graduate School, brief descriptions of departments and degree programs, and instructions for applying for admission and financial aid.

Yale University Graduate School Programs and Policies, issued each August, contains a more comprehensive and definitive description of each department and program, including a list of faculty members and courses taught, as well as the academic rules and regulations of the Graduate School. Programs and Policies for the current academic year may be purchased by sending a check for $4.00 (in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank), payable to Yale University, to:
