- Community of Science Expertise System
- IRIS Expertise Service
- Using IRIS or COS, develop a profile on-line to receive funding alerts and publicize your own research capabilities and expertise.
- Information about your skills, background and accomplishments will be available for review by colleagues at other colleages and universities, program officers at federal and private funding agencies, and technology transfer departments at private companies.
- Locate prospective collaborators. Identify peer reviewers. Keep up with developments in basic research.
- Both COS and IRIS maintain large databases of profiles of researchers at universities and other institutions involved in research.
