Multi-Party Audio Conference Calling Guide
From your Telephone (up to six participants)
You can set up a conference call for up to six people, including yourself, by using the conferencing feature of your telephone.
Yale MeetingPlace
MeetingPlace is a reservationless audio conference service that is available 7 x 24. Access for both the host and participants is available via a local Yale number, as well as a domestic toll free number. The cost for using this service is included in the Telecommunications Infrastructure Bundle. Please contact ITS Network Service Customer Service at telecom.custrelations@yale.edu if you plan on having a conference call with more than 40 participants.
BT Conferencing Meet Me (3 to 40 participants)
ITS Network Services can assist you in setting up a reservationless audio conference account with BT conferencing. BT Conferencing offers 7 x 24 customer support. Access for both the host and participants is via a domestic toll free number. International toll free access is available at an additional cost. There is no cost to set up an account, and there are no monthly recurring costs. You pay $.035 per minute per caller.

BT Conferencing Event Call (3-250 participants)
ITS Network Services can assist you in setting up an Event Call meeting with BT Conferencing. Event Call offers such features as meeting coordinators, operator dial-out and greeting, Conference moderator, and recording. See the full suite of available. You pay $.22 per minute per caller. Certain features carry an additional charge.
