We're the mighty
mighty trombones --- the loudest, hippest, sexiest, most chillin'
section in the YPMB, and don't let anybody else tell you
differently. You might spot us donning our oh-so-avant-garde
section berets, crooning out "You've Lost That Lovin'
Feeling", or accosting the Princeton drum major before
basketball games. Our simple yet mesmerizingly powerful
trombone cheer has shaken many an Ivy League stadium from its
foundation, inspiring the rest of the band to scream for blood...
metaphorically speaking, of course. We're always ready to lead
the Yale side on to victory, whether it be by blasting out
"Bulldog" or by engaging in some creative trash talking
(just don't ask us to move very far between formations
in the half-time show). And between brownie nights, section
dinners, bowling, horrible movies, and other pursuits, we certainly
know how to have a good time off the field as well.
