Our Showcase
Welcome to ViCH, Yale University's Virtual Concert Hall. ViCH hosts over 14,000 streaming media files in support of the musical activities of the students and faculty of the Department of Music, either by presenting archives of creative work and performances, or in supporting the Department of Music's curricular offerings.

For Fall 2007 we include: chamber music performances by instrumentalists in Professor Wendy Sharp's Music 221; original audio and video technology pieces by students in Professors Alexander and Klingbeil's Music 295/390 courses; new instrumental works by Yale College composers presented by Yale College New Music; excerpts from a performance of Handel's Giulio Cesare in Egitto produced by the Yale College Opera Company; selections from The Mellon Chansonnier which were performed by the Yale Collegium Musicum, Professor Robert Mealy, director; and soprano Kimberly DeQuattro, '03, featured performing Samuel Barber's Knoxville, Summer of 1915 with the Yale Symphony Orchestra, Steven Hyde, guest conductor. To hear and see these performances, use the QuickTime Player 7.1.6, properly installed on your computer, which you may download for free from Apple.
